Surf Trip is finally here! (This is the last email I promise) We are meeting at 9am outside the sports centre tomorrow morning. We are not going via Tesco at campus because there are supermarkets at the other end we can go to. Party tent is going so there will be space to sleep in that. Looking forward to tomorrow and see you all then!

Well the end of term is fast approaching, but we still have time for one more social before that horrible moment where you realise those exams have results which need to be given to you.
SO next Wednesday (that's the 22nd Bryce) we will be having a barbecue, followed by a last visit of the year to pop. If you come down to the field behind Tocil from 1 o clock onwards we will be sizzling meat on some grills into the afternoon, accompanied by rounders and a few beverages. From 7 onwards we will circle, possibly moving to the piazza at some point. After today's stirling performance by certain members of the club in raft building the theme for the evening will be onesies. Un-onsied people will be punished.
Pop looks as though it may be busy so buy your tickets in advance; circling will be outside (with contingency plans for bad weather) so you wont need to buy the circling tickets (not that they're any more expensive if you did have some strange urge to go in early).
See you there!

Hi again, Since the weather is so nice and many of us are done with exams (sorry if you're not yet) we'll be doing a social that's a bit different next Thursday. We'll be heading down to Leam Boat Centre, where we'll have a load of barrels, poles and ropes to build into rafts. Two teams will compete to build the best raft and then race down the River Leam to see who can paddle their raft the fastest without meeting a watery ending. See http://warwickcanoe.co.uk/site/photos/canoe/43/ for an example of what this is like. We'll be meeting at Leam Boat centre at around 1:30 (campus/coventry folk should get the bus around 1). The cost will be £10 per head which will get us all the equipment and an afternoons playtime. Please sign up if you're coming since I need to know roughly numbers in advance (chunder)Dave

Sorry about the confusion regarding payment deadlines for summer surf trip. Here is the final details for payments. If you are going in the Tardis with Mark, please pay him £15 directly. This will be the people who signed up for the evening mini bus as there were not enough people signed up to make this viable. The link for the payment for the minibus is: http://www.warwicksu.com/shop/product/10059120/ Please pay ASAP for the minibus. Payments for t-shirts are to be paid in cash to Greg when possible, he is now in the library/ campus most days. They are £7.40. Money for camping should also be paid in cash to Greg before the trip if possible - it is £5 per person per night. If there are still any outstanding payments please pay before the trip. Cheers :)

It's what you've all been waiting for... we are pleased to announce that Epic Party will be returning this year on Wednesday the 29th June (Week 10 for those of you still on campus time).
You are cordially invited to enjoy an evening of food, drink (both provided) and fun (bring along yourself) with your fellow Canoe and Canoe Polo compatriots. Also there will be a bouncy castle. And possibly Croquet.
The details:
This will all be taking place at Leamington Rugby Club (on the road leaving Leamington to the north, look to your right). Tickets will be £26 for everything, which should be paid in cash to Greg before the event. Dress will be formal, black tie and dresses (or as close as you can get).
Sign up is now open, so get yourself on to the website because this party promises to be exactly what its name suggests: epic!

We need to enter our teams for National League, so if you're up for it, please go and signup.
Same format as last year, so there will be 4 tournaments; 2 before Christmas and 2 after Christmas (2nd Term and Easter Hols at the latest). Costs vary slightly, but were less than £20 a tournament last year and the club is subsidising transport this year. (£70 Tournament Fee + Transport)
Next year's A Team, we would like to enter you as a team if enough of the team signup. We would also like to enter another team. There is a mix of abilities in the league and it varies from beginners to approximately A Team standard.
You should be a BCU member to play, but you can delay this until September. You will need to join Canoe Polo next year, but you're all going to do that anyway!
Any questions, ask! Got exams over the next couple of weeks, but I tend to procrastinate enough to answer emails!

It's Friday, Friday. Gotta get down on Friday! Ok, i'll stop being annoying. Nene trip. Tuesday week 9. (21st June). We will have 2 hours of exclusive use of the course, all paid for by our grant money. So all we will need to pay for is transport. Price TBC dependant on number of people signing up. Meeting on campus at about 11:30am and returning by 6pm. Please sign up so I don't have to go by myself. Signup closes Monday 5pm so I can arrange transport. You are welcome to signup after this, but no guarantee of car space for you. Although I guess we could always put you in the back of the van...
